Class of 2014 Curie power forward Cliff Alexander clearly established himself as one of the truly elite prospects in the nation this spring on the Nike EYBL circuit with the Mac Irvin Fire.
The post is starting to put together combination moves, has improved his jump hook, and even showed some skill facing up and knocking down shots. The biggest thing with Alexander has been his overall domination of every opponent that has been put in front of him on both ends of the floor.
Alexander is being heavily pursued by a large number of programs. The Kansas Jayhawks have emerged as a legitimate contender for his services. They recently hired ace Chicago recruiter Jerrance Howard who did a tremendous job landing two of the top 10 prospects in the state’s 2013 class in Proviso East’s Sterling Brown and Bolingbrook’s Ben Moore at SMU before heading to Kansas.
The Jayhawks staff has made Alexander a priority and it is showing. The Curie power forward says he will visit the Big 12 power on either Thursday or Friday of this week.
