Prestonwood Christian Academy (TX) superstar power forward Julius Randle is one of the top 3 prospects in the nation. He was a shoe in for the McDonald’s All-American Game until an injury sidelined him for the majority of his senior season. Randle was not selected for the prestigious game when rosters were announced in February because of the injury. Committee chairman Morgan Wootten said if Randle returned to the court and was healthy they would consider adding him to the roster.
That is exactly what happened on Wednesday as the nation’s top big man was added to the McDonald’s All-American Game he tweeted.
“Was just told I was added to the McDonald AA game .. So blessed man.”
Randle completely dominated in his return to the court averaging 28 points and 15 boards a game late in the season. He more than proved he was back and will now go up against the best in Chicago on April 3.
