Mississippi State junior guard Jalen Steele tore his ACL and meniscus in his right knee in Wednesday's game against South Carolina and will be lost for the season.
Steele is the fourth Mississippi State player to go down with a season-ending knee injury this season.
Steele was averaging 10.1 points per game on the season.
The team has just six scholarship players remaining to finish the year.
